Vibrant Chand (Preity Zinta) est une jeune mariée qui quitte sa maison à Ludhiana, au Punjab en Inde, pour Brampton, à Ontario, où son mari (Vansh Bhardwaj) Rocky et sa famille très traditionnelle attendent son arrivée.
